Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Waaree Energies(Rs. 219.35 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 125.19 crore), RIL(Rs. 119.13 crore), ITI Ltd(Rs. 115.95 crore), Indian Hotels(Rs. 94.23 crore), SBI(Rs. 93.85 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 87.78 crore), PayTM(Rs. 86.08 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 72.75 crore) and Sangam Renewables(Rs. 67.76 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 51.15 points down at 24148.2, while BSE Sensex 55.47 points to 79486.32.
In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.89 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.10 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.84 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.50 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Trent Ltd.(down 3.18 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 2.60 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.59 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent) and Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
