Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 3830.59 crore), Zomato(Rs. 2819.87 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 2469.59 crore), BSE(Rs. 2461.57 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2077.68 crore), Wipro(Rs. 2048.86 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1991.12 crore), Motilal Oswal(Rs. 1789.11 crore), RIL(Rs. 1639.52 crore) and Bajaj Auto(Rs. 1544.85 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 104.21 points up at 24854.05, while BSE Sensex rose 218.14 points to 81224.75.
In the Nifty index, Axis Bank Ltd.(up 5.75 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 3.77 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 3.07 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 2.71 per cent) and Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 2.65 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Infosys Ltd.(down 4.50 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.09 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.79 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
