Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: IRB Infra Dev.(Rs. 5849.76 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2310.79 crore), InterGlobe(Rs. 1930.91 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 1870.48 crore), NBCC (Rs. 1806.87 crore), RIL(Rs. 1723.53 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 1681.27 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1460.53 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1373.41 crore) and HUDCO(Rs. 1358.31 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 5.65 points up at 23264.85, while BSE Sensex fell 33.49 points to 76456.59.

In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 5.56 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.56 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.41 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.23 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.15 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.10 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
