Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Exide Inds.(Rs. 3240.11 crore), Infosys(Rs. 2307.31 crore), ONGC(Rs. 2268.09 crore), Jio Financial Servic(Rs. 1787.73 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 1567.04 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1555.30 crore), RIL(Rs. 1368.76 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1203.98 crore), TCS(Rs. 1186.62 crore) and Bharti Hexacom(Rs. 1139.71 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 124.6 points down at 22147.9, while BSE Sensex fell 456.1 points to 72943.68.

In the Nifty index, Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 3.24 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.29 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.18 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Infosys Ltd.(down 3.66 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.18 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 3.17 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.32 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
