Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Tirupati Foam(Rs. 3519750 crore), Madras Fert(Rs. 2773 crore), Star Health(Rs. 553.74 crore), Patanjali Foods(Rs. 149.48 crore), HDFC(Rs. 119.95 crore), Avenue Supermart(Rs. 108.50 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 99.57 crore), RBL Bank(Rs. 96.14 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 96.12 crore) and RIL(Rs. 90.43 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 55.1 points down at 19384.3, while BSE Sensex fell 223.94 points to 65393.9.

In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.85 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.04 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(up 0.91 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 0.62 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.27 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.12 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
