Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Transmission(Rs. 3622.74 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 3456.75 crore), HDFC(Rs. 1964.48 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1700.32 crore), CreditAccess Grameen(Rs. 1575.57 crore), HDFC AMC(Rs. 1402.42 crore), RIL(Rs. 1309.12 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1293.75 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 1225.47 crore) and Easy Trip Planners(Rs. 1157.82 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 216.95 points up at 19189.05, while BSE Sensex rose 803.14 points to 64718.56.

In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 4.20 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 3.26 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 3.04 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.92 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.88 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.28 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.56 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.50 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
