Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 2388.19 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 2379.61 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 1340.58 crore), SBI(Rs. 846.44 crore), ITC(Rs. 845.51 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 551.30 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 538.58 crore), HDFC Life(Rs. 490.56 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 442.83 crore) and RIL(Rs. 429.15 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:30AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 90.95 points down at 17525.35, while BSE Sensex was down 174.94 points at 59533.14 as of 10:30AM(IST)on February 02.

In the Nifty index, ITC Ltd.(up 4.93 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 3.68 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.45 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.73 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.20 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 11.50 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 7.38 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 4.90 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 4.12 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.75 per cent) were among the top losers.
