Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

Nifty moved in a tight range of 82 points, and ended slightly below the psychologically crucial level of 15,700.

NEW DELHI: Max Financial(Rs. 88.38 crore), Just Dial(Rs. 53.73 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 28.62 crore), UCO Bank(Rs. 26.13 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 25.07 crore), Bajaj Hindusthan Su(Rs. 24.37 crore), Brightcom Group(Rs. 23.17 crore), IOB(Rs. 20.09 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 17.67 crore) and FACT(Rs. 17.64 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:55AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 34.95 points down at 18350.35, while BSE Sensex was down 136.51 points at 61565.78 as of 10:55AM(IST)on December 21.

In the Nifty index, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.89 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.91 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.85 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 0.85 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 0.68 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent) were among the top losers.
