Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Dabur India(Rs. 1094.24 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 39.27 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 30.23 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 20.24 crore), Life Insurance Corporation of India(Rs. 18.58 crore), PNB(Rs. 17.38 crore), IOB(Rs. 15.24 crore), GIC(Rs. 13.85 crore), Infosys(Rs. 13.64 crore) and JP Power(Rs. 13.29 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 182.15 points down at 18238.3, while BSE Sensex was down 594.58 points at 61211.61 as of 10:24AM(IST)on December 20.

In the Nifty index, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.43 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 0.24 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.03 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up -0.15 per cent) and State Bank of India(up -0.30 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.06 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent) were among the top losers.
