Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Bajaj Finserv(Rs. 515.94 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 489.14 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 408.81 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 397.54 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 380.59 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 377.11 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 354.28 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 350.33 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 301.50 crore) and Tata Elxsi(Rs. 299.71 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 43.7 points up at 17534.4, while BSE Sensex was up 117.88 points at 58891.75 as of 10:24AM(IST)on August 23.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 3.18 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.47 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 2.20 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 2.20 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Infosys Ltd.(down 1.92 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.78 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.00 per cent) were among the top losers.
