Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: IIFL Finance(Rs. 627.88 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 562.87 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 479.99 crore), Tata Chemicals(Rs. 463.15 crore), Zomato Ltd.(Rs. 410.32 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 399.74 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 374.99 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 369.82 crore), Piramal Ent.(Rs. 358.12 crore) and Kotak Bank(Rs. 298.87 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:09AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 0.45 points down at 17956.05, while BSE Sensex was down 0.95 points at 60297.05 as of 10:09AM(IST)on August 19.

In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 3.82 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.09 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.30 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.27 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.74 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) were among the top losers.
