Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Wilmar Ltd.(Rs. 645.56 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 598.24 crore), Angel Broking(Rs. 576.10 crore), HCL Tech(Rs. 476.55 crore), RIL(Rs. 452.93 crore), Hindalco(Rs. 405.09 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 382.86 crore), Infosys(Rs. 372.36 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 366.49 crore) and SBI Cards(Rs. 351.37 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 169.65 points down at 17222.95, while BSE Sensex was down 535.99 points at 57375.69 as of 10:24AM(IST)on April 22.

In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.70 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 2.03 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 0.49 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.48 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 0.34 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 4.41 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.65 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 2.22 per cent) were among the top losers.
