Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: CG Power & Ind.(Rs. 353.61 crore), Voltas(Rs. 113.33 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 69.01 crore), KPIT Tech(Rs. 47.91 crore), JP Power(Rs. 47.50 crore), SBI(Rs. 33.52 crore), Raghuvir Synt(Rs. 30.29 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 26.78 crore), Titan Company (Rs. 25.65 crore) and Magma Fincorp(Rs. 24.46 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:34AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 152.55 points up at 17898.45, while BSE Sensex was up 501.73 points at 60103.57 as of 10:34AM(IST)on January 07.

In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.92 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 2.48 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.15 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.97 per cent) and State Bank of India(up 1.84 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.86 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.36 per cent) were among the top losers.
