Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: CAMS(Rs. 1007.08 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 506.04 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 445.89 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 432.87 crore), SAIL(Rs. 381.83 crore), RIL(Rs. 346.25 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 345.32 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 344.16 crore), Dixon Tech(Rs. 287.51 crore) and Bajaj Finance(Rs. 280.25 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:40AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 89.6 points up at 17600.9, while BSE Sensex was up 279.77 points at 59066.44 as of 10:40AM(IST)on December 13.

In the Nifty index, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.13 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.76 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 2.51 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.37 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.29 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.85 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.67 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.38 per cent) were among the top losers.
