Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

The NSE Nifty index was trading 176.0 points down at 24935.45

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.

NEW DELHI: Adani Wilmar(Rs. 3746.41 crore), Sangam Renewables(Rs. 83.28 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 76.60 crore), Magellanic Cloud(Rs. 73.10 crore), HDFC AMC(Rs. 72.62 crore), JP Power(Rs. 57.14 crore), Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd.(Rs. 56.80 crore), Inventurus Knowledge Solutions Ltd.(Rs. 49.56 crore), Jio Financial Services(Rs. 43.70 crore) and L&T Fin Holding(Rs. 42.18 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:03AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 176.0 points down at 24935.45, while BSE Sensex was down 607.47 points at 81651.77 as of 11:03AM(IST)on July 18.

In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 2.40 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 0.54 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 0.49 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 0.49 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 0.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Axis Bank Ltd.(down 4.45 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.59 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.00 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent) were among the top losers.
