Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 1280.72 crore), BSE(Rs. 822.31 crore), Cochin Shipyard(Rs. 667.88 crore), SCI(Rs. 560.05 crore), Reliance Power(Rs. 556.15 crore), BEL(Rs. 554.77 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 543.02 crore), MCX India(Rs. 502.78 crore), HAL(Rs. 461.76 crore) and Nava Bharat Vent.(Rs. 448.20 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:02AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 173.11 points up at 24891.7, while BSE Sensex was up 507.12 points at 81625.72 as of 11:02AM(IST)on June 16.

In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.07 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.02 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 1.88 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.74 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 3.82 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.89 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.48 per cent), State Bank of India(down 0.43 per cent) and Jio Financial Services Ltd.(down 0.19 per cent) were among the top losers.
