Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

The NSE Nifty index was trading 61.41 points down at 24399.75

Agarwal said the global economy is showing clear signs of recovery. The second wave of Covid-19 is ebbing in India with total active cases at less than 20 per cent of May highs.

NEW DELHI: Coforge(Rs. 1014.00 crore), M&M(Rs. 720.82 crore), RIL(Rs. 471.54 crore), BSE(Rs. 460.21 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 432.29 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 383.34 crore), Indian Hotels(Rs. 381.34 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 369.50 crore), HAL(Rs. 363.04 crore) and CCL Products(Rs. 336.05 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:59AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 61.41 points down at 24399.75, while BSE Sensex was down 181.47 points at 80615.37 as of 09:59AM(IST)on May 06.

In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.97 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.23 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.92 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.63 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.38 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Jio Financial Services Ltd.(down 2.19 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 2.17 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.68 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent) and Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent) were among the top losers.
