Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: M&M(Rs. 672.56 crore), TCS(Rs. 661.50 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 627.84 crore), Tata Investment(Rs. 575.44 crore), BSE(Rs. 559.58 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 488.39 crore), Zomato(Rs. 472.37 crore), CreditAccess Grameen(Rs. 468.44 crore), RIL(Rs. 441.50 crore) and Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 407.31 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:27AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 5.21 points up at 22558.55, while BSE Sensex was up 147.19 points at 74601.6 as of 11:27AM(IST)on February 25.

In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.16 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.86 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.49 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.40 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.49 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.32 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent) were among the top losers.
