Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Cipla(Rs. 111.80 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 95.88 crore), Varroc Engg.(Rs. 41.75 crore), TCS(Rs. 38.18 crore), Tata Elxsi(Rs. 37.20 crore), ITI Ltd(Rs. 35.89 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 32.81 crore), Gujarat Toolroom(Rs. 24.82 crore), IREDA(Rs. 24.75 crore) and Zomato(Rs. 24.46 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:05AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 24.21 points down at 23502.3, while BSE Sensex was 18.93 points at 77601.28 as of 11:05AM(IST)on January 10.

In the Nifty index, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 4.75 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.86 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.30 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.30 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 3.65 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.31 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 2.30 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.81 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.76 per cent) were among the top losers.
