Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Syngene Int.(Rs. 719.85 crore), Waaree Energies(Rs. 72.20 crore), ITI Ltd(Rs. 72.00 crore), Protean eGov Techno(Rs. 53.55 crore), Greaves Cotton(Rs. 29.78 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 24.80 crore), Trident Ltd(Rs. 24.43 crore), Ingersoll-Rand(Rs. 22.89 crore), Infosys(Rs. 16.87 crore) and Vodafone Idea(Rs. 16.42 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 22.1 points up at 24641.1, while BSE Sensex was 81.85 points at 81590.31 as of 10:24AM(IST)on December 10.

In the Nifty index, Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 2.12 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.63 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.57 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Trent Ltd.(down 1.28 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent) were among the top losers.
