Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Angel One(Rs. 2449.62 crore), BSE(Rs. 1693.60 crore), RIL(Rs. 1063.80 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 998.06 crore), CDSL(Rs. 875.62 crore), HDFC AMC(Rs. 808.59 crore), Railtel Corp(Rs. 656.46 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 624.01 crore), Motilal Oswal(Rs. 606.01 crore) and Rallis India(Rs. 591.98 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:05AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 33.0 points down at 25024.35, while BSE Sensex was down 67.01 points at 81753.11 as of 11:05AM(IST)on October 16.

In the Nifty index, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.85 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.36 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.15 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.10 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Trent Ltd.(down 3.41 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.41 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.46 per cent) were among the top losers.
