Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: InterGlobe(Rs. 425.67 crore), Medplus Health Serv(Rs. 76.24 crore), Protean eGov Techno(Rs. 45.98 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 40.76 crore), Indian Renewable(Rs. 36.02 crore), Zomato(Rs. 35.57 crore), Jio Financial Services(Rs. 35.32 crore), Balu Forge Ind(Rs. 32.05 crore), RIL(Rs. 28.98 crore) and Shriram EPC(Rs. 27.94 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:05AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 156.95 points up at 24980.1, while BSE Sensex was up 512.66 points at 81598.87 as of 11:05AM(IST)on August 26.

In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.00 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.82 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.51 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.46 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 0.48 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.42 per cent) were among the top losers.
