Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Zomato(Rs. 500.86 crore), Genus Pwr Infra(Rs. 311.79 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 101.44 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 96.34 crore), Protean eGov Techno(Rs. 64.75 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 63.47 crore), IRFC(Rs. 56.19 crore), Indian Renewable(Rs. 44.74 crore), Sangam Renewables(Rs. 42.47 crore) and ITC(Rs. 40.82 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:34AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 232.41 points down at 24778.5, while BSE Sensex was down 775.16 points at 81092.39 as of 10:34AM(IST)on August 02.

In the Nifty index, HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.12 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 0.63 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.62 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.37 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 0.28 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 4.17 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 3.99 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 3.64 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.86 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.50 per cent) were among the top losers.
