Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Infosys(Rs. 3574.49 crore), Tata Teleservices(Rs. 2061.36 crore), HAL(Rs. 1671.39 crore), Indian Renewable(Rs. 1560.58 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 1362.90 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 1158.40 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 1058.76 crore), RIL(Rs. 948.14 crore), TCS(Rs. 873.28 crore) and BEL(Rs. 760.55 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:20AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 143.4 points down at 24657.45, while BSE Sensex was down 334.06 points at 81009.4 as of 11:20AM(IST)on July 19.

In the Nifty index, Infosys Ltd.(up 2.91 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 1.54 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.97 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.63 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.41 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 4.12 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 3.31 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.31 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 3.22 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.76 per cent) were among the top losers.
