Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: HAL(Rs. 2582.38 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 2430.85 crore), Cochin Shipyard(Rs. 1308.02 crore), GRSE(Rs. 1261.94 crore), BEL(Rs. 1119.08 crore), Paras Defence(Rs. 1020.66 crore), HFCL(Rs. 957.14 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 729.76 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 674.47 crore) and Bharat Dynamics(Rs. 670.72 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:34AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 83.21 points up at 23548.8, while BSE Sensex was up 279.67 points at 77272.44 as of 10:34AM(IST)on June 18.

In the Nifty index, Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 2.91 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.56 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.37 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.96 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent) were among the top losers.
