Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: IRB Infra Dev.(Rs. 4500.90 crore), InterGlobe(Rs. 1330.04 crore), HUDCO(Rs. 970.72 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 874.78 crore), GMR Infra(Rs. 823.02 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 773.23 crore), HAL(Rs. 758.13 crore), RIL(Rs. 670.89 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 651.89 crore) and NBCC (Rs. 619.64 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:15AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 74.35 points up at 23333.55, while BSE Sensex was up 214.05 points at 76704.13 as of 11:15AM(IST)on June 11.

In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 3.75 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.92 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.90 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.40 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.94 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.27 per cent) were among the top losers.
