Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Mphasis(Rs. 123.84 crore), Heritage Foods(Rs. 115.79 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 100.72 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 70.46 crore), AmaraRaja Batteries(Rs. 67.62 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 59.81 crore), REC(Rs. 59.56 crore), HAL(Rs. 56.90 crore), NHPC(Rs. 45.01 crore) and IRB Infra Dev.(Rs. 43.96 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 57.85 points up at 23348.0, while BSE Sensex was up 107.91 points at 76801.27 as of 10:24AM(IST)on June 10.

In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 4.24 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 4.14 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 3.27 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 2.49 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(up 2.35 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.53 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.96 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.82 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(down 1.66 per cent) were among the top losers.
