Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

Retail and banking stocks rose 0.5 per cent and 0.7 per cent, respectively.

NEW DELHI: IRB Infra Dev.(Rs. 2002.31 crore), R R Kabel(Rs. 962.65 crore), Policy Bazaar(Rs. 173.27 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 110.32 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 95.19 crore), KFIN Technologies(Rs. 75.10 crore), Cochin Shipyard(Rs. 59.53 crore), Sangam Renewables(Rs. 44.57 crore), RattanIndia Power (Rs. 40.48 crore) and Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 40.12 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:20AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 144.86 points down at 22559.85, while BSE Sensex was down 417.22 points at 74085.68 as of 11:20AM(IST)on May 30.

In the Nifty index, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 0.82 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 0.68 per cent), State Bank of India(up 0.45 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 0.34 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd.(down 4.22 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.78 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 2.59 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.55 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.23 per cent) were among the top losers.
