Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Jio Financial Servic(Rs. 927.11 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 865.30 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 715.32 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 550.00 crore), NHPC(Rs. 545.97 crore), SJVN(Rs. 514.69 crore), SBI(Rs. 483.80 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 463.02 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 443.14 crore) and Tata Motors(Rs. 442.42 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:10AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 25.7 points down at 21997.65, while BSE Sensex was down 32.92 points at 72610.51 as of 11:10AM(IST)on March 18.

In the Nifty index, Tata Steel Ltd.(up 3.71 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.83 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.53 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.27 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.09 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.34 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.21 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.42 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.40 per cent) were among the top losers.
