Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 1238.73 crore), Rites(Rs. 916.21 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 549.50 crore), NBCC (Rs. 549.20 crore), NHPC(Rs. 530.91 crore), Au Small Fin Bank(Rs. 521.47 crore), Infibeam Avenues(Rs. 472.57 crore), SJVN(Rs. 461.60 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 421.96 crore) and IRB Infra Dev.(Rs. 349.44 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:58AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 209.91 points up at 21562.5, while BSE Sensex was up 664.89 points at 71365.56 as of 09:58AM(IST)on January 29.

In the Nifty index, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 4.82 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 4.34 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 3.19 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 3.05 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.57 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 2.52 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.55 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.62 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.62 per cent) were among the top losers.
