Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Reliance Power(Rs. 158.97 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 73.61 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 65.35 crore), 360 One Wam(Rs. 61.68 crore), RattanIndia Power (Rs. 60.23 crore), HAL(Rs. 51.51 crore), Varun Beverages(Rs. 49.51 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 48.20 crore), NHPC(Rs. 44.33 crore) and Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 40.43 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:49AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 71.61 points up at 21730.2, while BSE Sensex was up 103.79 points at 71951.36 as of 10:49AM(IST)on January 05.

In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.41 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.09 per cent) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.46 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent) were among the top losers.
