Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: SAIL(Rs. 48.24 crore), Suyog Telematics(Rs. 42.21 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 30.66 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 30.51 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 29.00 crore), Protean eGov Techno(Rs. 23.81 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 22.33 crore), Wardwizard Innov(Rs. 20.06 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 18.99 crore) and SJVN(Rs. 18.53 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:34AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 122.2 points up at 21563.55, while BSE Sensex was up 436.56 points at 71773.36 as of 10:34AM(IST)on December 27.

In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.96 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 2.90 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.59 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.29 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.39 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.27 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.20 per cent) were among the top losers.
