Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(Rs. 101.08 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 74.18 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 59.39 crore), JP Power(Rs. 46.96 crore), LIC Housing(Rs. 29.18 crore), MCX India(Rs. 28.85 crore), CSB Bank(Rs. 27.06 crore), Bondada Engineering(Rs. 25.37 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 24.06 crore) and YES Bank(Rs. 23.38 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:39AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 121.65 points up at 19254.9, while BSE Sensex was up 375.37 points at 64456.27 as of 10:39AM(IST)on November 03.

In the Nifty index, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 4.44 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.47 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.03 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.40 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.32 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.04 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.04 per cent) were among the top losers.
