Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 775.30 crore), MMTC(Rs. 593.52 crore), Jai Corp(Rs. 427.40 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 396.45 crore), GSFC(Rs. 390.77 crore), Easy Trip Planners(Rs. 389.85 crore), Guj Mineral Dev.(Rs. 363.64 crore), Delta Corp(Rs. 251.92 crore), Infosys(Rs. 248.59 crore) and ITI Ltd(Rs. 248.19 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 14.6 points up at 19765.65, while BSE Sensex was up 8.09 points at 66290.83 as of 10:45AM(IST)on October 16.

In the Nifty index, HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.68 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.53 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.48 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.38 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.35 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.59 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.74 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent) were among the top losers.
