Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Guj Mineral Dev.(Rs. 652.89 crore), TCS(Rs. 560.19 crore), Zomato(Rs. 541.59 crore), RIL(Rs. 346.64 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 330.67 crore), Infosys(Rs. 329.76 crore), NMDC(Rs. 289.82 crore), MOIL(Rs. 256.88 crore), Power Grid(Rs. 203.63 crore) and Grasim Inds.(Rs. 177.77 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 16.35 points down at 19795.0, while BSE Sensex was down 68.02 points at 66405.03 as of 10:14AM(IST)on October 12.

In the Nifty index, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.60 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.86 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.78 per cent) were among the top losers.
