Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 690.72 crore), Guj Mineral Dev.(Rs. 593.58 crore), ITI Ltd(Rs. 548.66 crore), RIL(Rs. 441.17 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 419.72 crore), Prestige Estate(Rs. 362.59 crore), Zomato(Rs. 353.38 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 335.37 crore), TCS(Rs. 311.88 crore) and DLF(Rs. 306.49 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:00AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 99.6 points up at 19611.95, while BSE Sensex was up 339.11 points at 65851.5 as of 11:00AM(IST)on October 10.

In the Nifty index, Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 2.77 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.73 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 2.73 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.86 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.38 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.88 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.50 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.28 per cent) were among the top losers.
