Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: CMI Ltd(Rs. 9977721 crore), STEL Holdings(Rs. 9957960 crore), Oricon Enterpr(Rs. 9954600 crore), HMT Ltd(Rs. 9940054 crore), Ambar Protein Indust(Rs. 9936110 crore), Aanchal Ispat(Rs. 9927668 crore), Rama Phosphates(Rs. 9906615 crore), Veeram Securities(Rs. 9890544 crore), Dhunseri Petrochem (Rs. 9877000 crore) and Sibar Auto Part(Rs. 9870939 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 15.4 points down at 20176.95, while BSE Sensex was down 112.27 points at 67726.36 as of 10:24AM(IST)on September 18.

In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.37 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.16 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.58 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.41 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent) were among the top losers.
