Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

Nagaraj Shetti, Technical Research Analyst at HDFC Securities, believes Monday's pattern could be considered as a High Wave, which reflects high volatility in the market at swing highs.

NEW DELHI: Ibull Housing Fin(Rs. 769.09 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 742.82 crore), Jio Financial Servic(Rs. 701.02 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 541.40 crore), Zomato(Rs. 540.29 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 436.20 crore), RIL(Rs. 392.27 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 257.73 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 244.12 crore) and Adani Power(Rs. 241.84 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:00AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 42.35 points up at 19308.15, while BSE Sensex was up 114.47 points at 65000.98 as of 11:00AM(IST)on August 28.

In the Nifty index, Cipla Ltd.(up 2.05 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.58 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.47 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.12 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.92 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.67 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent) were among the top losers.
