Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 941.66 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 892.67 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 497.23 crore), HAL(Rs. 417.32 crore), HDFC(Rs. 411.98 crore), Olectra Greentech(Rs. 384.76 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 382.64 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 331.20 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 317.90 crore) and Cyient DLM Ltd.(Rs. 280.00 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:56AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 135.65 points up at 19491.55, while BSE Sensex was up 446.28 points at 65790.45 as of 10:56AM(IST)on July 11.

In the Nifty index, Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 2.02 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.99 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.99 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.69 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.64 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, UPL Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.36 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.25 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.15 per cent) were among the top losers.
