Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

The NSE Nifty index was trading 94.25 points up at 19426.05

Retail and banking stocks rose 0.5 per cent and 0.7 per cent, respectively.

NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 2334.92 crore), Olectra Greentech(Rs. 1369.92 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 698.84 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 541.21 crore), Cyient DLM Ltd.(Rs. 534.17 crore), Ceat(Rs. 390.81 crore), PNB(Rs. 362.81 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 347.37 crore), HDFC(Rs. 325.15 crore) and ICICI Bank(Rs. 316.17 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:40AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 94.25 points up at 19426.05, while BSE Sensex was up 314.94 points at 65595.39 as of 10:40AM(IST)on July 10.

In the Nifty index, Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 4.38 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.30 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.04 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.97 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.86 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.01 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.97 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.68 per cent) were among the top losers.
