Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Aptus Value Housing(Rs. 272.21 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 246.78 crore), HDFC(Rs. 214.77 crore), Piramal Ent.(Rs. 90.84 crore), Shriram Finance(Rs. 38.34 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 37.49 crore), HAL(Rs. 33.20 crore), Sula Vineyards(Rs. 24.48 crore), SJVN(Rs. 17.25 crore) and Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 16.95 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 54.0 points up at 18870.7, while BSE Sensex was up 146.05 points at 63473.75 as of 10:19AM(IST)on June 21.

In the Nifty index, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.10 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.77 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.18 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.98 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.64 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.10 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.97 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent) were among the top losers.
