Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Star Health(Rs. 660.76 crore), Policy Bazaar(Rs. 604.08 crore), HDFC AMC(Rs. 164.21 crore), JTEKT India (Rs. 78.14 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 25.83 crore), Reliance Power(Rs. 24.90 crore), Birlasoft(Rs. 24.70 crore), Infosys(Rs. 20.20 crore), Page Industries(Rs. 20.11 crore) and Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 18.87 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:16AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 95.3 points up at 18416.45, while BSE Sensex was up 321.31 points at 62193.93 as of 11:16AM(IST)on May 26.

In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.12 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 2.05 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.56 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.78 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.48 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 0.26 per cent) were among the top losers.
