Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Eicher Motors(Rs. 53.63 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 48.45 crore), Max Healthcare(Rs. 32.53 crore), Infosys(Rs. 26.92 crore), South Indian Bnk(Rs. 25.81 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 25.74 crore), ONGC(Rs. 22.92 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 22.63 crore), Indian Hotels(Rs. 18.06 crore) and Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd.(Rs. 16.88 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:06AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 15.4 points down at 18281.6, while BSE Sensex was down 39.83 points at 61864.69 as of 11:06AM(IST)on May 12.

In the Nifty index, Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 5.22 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.52 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.93 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 0.83 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.80 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.98 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.64 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent) were among the top losers.
