Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Brightcom Group(numbers of share traded: 1.90 crore), Vakrangee (numbers of share traded: 1.56 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 1.36 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.34 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 1.30 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.02 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 0.96 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 0.90 crore), Alstone Textiles(numbers of share traded: 0.88 crore) and JP Power(numbers of share traded: 0.77 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 24.9 points up at 17624.05, while BSE Sensex ended up 13.54 points at 59846.51.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.74 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.17 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
