Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.12 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 3.94 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.73 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.24 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 2.10 crore), Brightcom Group(numbers of share traded: 1.73 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.62 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 1.43 crore), Navkar Builders(numbers of share traded: 0.84 crore) and G V Films(numbers of share traded: 0.67 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 129.0 points up at 17080.7, while BSE Sensex ended up 346.37 points at 57960.09.

On the other hand, UPL Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.59 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.50 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 0.44 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
