Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 56.06 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.45 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 5.24 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 5.08 crore), Brightcom Group(numbers of share traded: 4.53 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 4.43 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 3.54 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 3.47 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 3.46 crore) and South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 3.17 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 258.6 points down at 17154.3, while BSE Sensex ended down 897.28 points at 58237.85.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 7.40 per cent), State Bank of India(down 3.17 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 3.09 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.71 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.65 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
