Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 20.04 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 11.81 crore), Zee Ent.(numbers of share traded: 7.66 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 7.47 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 5.93 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 5.75 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 4.84 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.10 crore), IRB Infra Dev.(numbers of share traded: 3.94 crore) and GAIL(numbers of share traded: 3.85 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 43.05 points down at 17511.25, while BSE Sensex ended down 139.18 points at 59605.8.

On the other hand, Asian Paints Ltd.(down 3.22 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
