Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.68 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 3.20 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.91 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.85 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.81 crore), Policy Bazaar(numbers of share traded: 1.78 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 1.51 crore), NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 1.49 crore), FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(numbers of share traded: 1.40 crore) and JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.34 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 321.5 points up at 18349.7, while BSE Sensex ended up 1181.34 points at 61795.04.

On the other hand, Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 4.90 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.86 per cent) and State Bank of India(down 0.73 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
