Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.76 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 8.51 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 7.79 crore), Shree Ren Sug(numbers of share traded: 7.33 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 6.14 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 5.78 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 5.21 crore), Ambuja Cements(numbers of share traded: 4.38 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 3.94 crore) and Dish TV India(numbers of share traded: 3.39 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 194.0 points up at 17816.25, while BSE Sensex ended up 578.51 points at 59719.74.

On the other hand, Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.79 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd.(down 0.68 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.44 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.19 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 0.13 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
