Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: JP Power(numbers of share traded: 4.54 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 4.52 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 4.43 crore), NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 2.93 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.88 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 2.45 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 2.07 crore), Future Consumer (numbers of share traded: 1.82 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 1.68 crore) and G V Films(numbers of share traded: 1.31 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 34.6 points up at 17833.35, while BSE Sensex ended up 104.92 points at 59793.14.

On the other hand, UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.97 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.25 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
